In-State, not-for-profit organizations are eligible to apply for funds to support the attendance of persons with developmental disabilities and family members of persons with developmental disabilities at relevant conferences. The conferences must include topics that are pertinent to and supportive of the Mission of the WV Developmental Disabilities Council.
The Council’s Mission is to assure that West Virginia citizens with developmental disabilities receive the services, supports, and other forms of assistance they need to exercise self-determination and achieve independence, productivity, integration, and inclusion in the community.
Funding for the current fiscal year was distributed as follows:
